Robeson County men face drug charges after search of home

ROBESON COUNTY, NC (TERESAREPORTS) – The Robeson County Sheriff’s office said two men were arrested after a Red Springs home was searched by officials on Friday.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, Drug Enforcement Division Investigators, SWAT Operators and deputies with the Community Impact Team served a search warrant in the 300 block of Barber Shop Road in Red Springs.

Officials said they found drug paraphernalia, a quantity of marijuana, and three firearms during the course of the investigation at the home.

Bryan Keith “Jugghead” Hardin, 59, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

James Matthew Huggins, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana up to a half ounce. Huggins was released from custody.

Hardin was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond.
