Robeson County deputies arrest man wanted for murder in North Carolina

ROBESON COUNTY, NC (TERESAREPORTS) – The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man wanted for murder Monday morning.

Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1000 block of Crawford Road in Lumberton in reference to a suspicious vehicle and people in the area, according to a media release.

Officials said when they arrived they found 25-year-old Hayden Godair with a woman. The car had been reported stolen, and the woman had a stolen firearm.

Officials said Godair initially gave deputies a fake name, and during the investigation, it was determined that Godair was wanted for first-degree murder by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

Godair was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Robeson County Detention Center with no bond.
