MARLBORO COUNTY, SC (TERESAREPORTS) – The Marlboro County School District showed off some of its renovations and updates to Bennettsville Intermediate School on Thursday.
The school now has new LED lights outside, and lights on the BIS sign at the front entrance of the school.
More updates at Bennettsville Intermediate include LED Lights on the side entrances and newly painted sidewalks.
Marlboro County Superintendent, Dr. Gregory McCord, said in December that the school would get a new roof and both heating and air units, and now BIS has both.
The outside of the school was landscaped and new mulch was put down around the school.
A video on the district’s social media showed new gym lights and water fountains with refill stations, something Dr. McCord was adamant about installing last year.
The district said it will continue to update and renovate the intermediate school.
